Much like our director’s unique training, Notre Dame de Paris is recognised under UNESCO’s World Heritage program.
In 2012, Laurent was appointed as a foreman to the famous Parisian Gothic cathedral to oversee compliance, repair and replacement of solid French Oak doors, some of which stood several metres high and needed a crane to lift them into place.
While onsite, Laurent had full access to all private areas including: hidden passages, the roof and the basement – what a unique view to witness!
It is likely most of these items sadly perished in the fire of April 2019.
