This room in our own offices works double-duty as the staff kitchenette and client meeting room. Our three Directors have conflicting tastes, so making one small office aesthetically pleasing for everyone to enjoy each workday plus use as an inspirational space for clients was a big task.
Incorporating the restored heritage brickwork was the first design point of reference, followed by Caesarstone’s textural delight, Excava which has veins of copper tones. The copper sink and kickboard also tie in the copper-red accents of the bricks.
The grey tones of Excava blended with the existing painted concrete floor, so it was a no-brainer to continue rich grey tones throughout cabinetry with Polytec’s ultra-matte product, Venette in Cinder, with a highlighted open cupboard in Polytec’s Woodmatt Prime Oak.
With our in-house metal fabrication workshop, we effortlessly incorporated black steel doors, open shelving and a splashback frame with LED backlights to compliment the design.
A collaborative win from the team. And we still think it looks good despite it now being ruined by the 2022 floods!
